Beth > This in Independence Park, across the street from the American Consulate. I tried to take a picture of the American Consulate, too, but you're not allowed to - the security guards chased me away.
Beth > A bit of America in Israel . . . Abe Lincoln and George Washington both have their own streets in Jerusalem, and they even intersect. But they're pronounced "Lin-co-lin" and "Va-shing-ton." For those of you feeling rusty on your Hebrew school reading skills, the top of the advertisement does indeed say "Reese Witherspoon."
Beth > The David Citadel hotel, next door to HUC. Natalie Portman is reportedly living here while she studies abroad at Hebrew University this year, and Bibi Netanyahu often works out with HUC students at the hotel's gym.

Beth > My friend Rachel Kort and the grassy courtyard. You can't see it from this picture, but you can see the walls of the Old City when you're standing there. Definitely the nicest place on campus to pray.
